This a introductory course for SCADA and Automation and includes general covering of what SCADA is, the software that make up SCADA, the SCADA Center and general automation technologies. Many SCADA applications and architectures are introduced to help the participant have a general appreciation of how SCADA can be used and what are the benefits.
This is an introductory course and includes 60% hands-on course and 40% theory.

Process Instrumentation Control Systems
: The course provides a general overview of instrumentation systems covering sensors, transducers, measurement, calibration and accuracy as used in a wide range of industries such as factories, water treatment plants, power plants, transport systems and process industries. The course also provides an overview of actuators, control valves and instrument protection systems.
Instrument communication and interfacing, concept of smart instruments, protocols and their use in industry is also covered. Instrument interfacing to automation controllers and SCADA systems is also covered.
Case studies of instrumentation used in water treatment plants, power plants, and tank gauging systems is provided.
