Introduction:
FluENGcy is a young Communications, Business and Language Training organization. It has and is in the process of developing various Management Development Programs (EDP/MDP) to assist individuals and the CorporateHouses to face the challenges of Globalization.
Founded in 2002 by Ms. Shilpa Sonawane, FluENGcy now has the pride of having trained over 500 people who are now well on their way to achieving new highs in their professional and personal successes.
Our Vision
Empowering those who choose to associate with us in manners that would make them comfortable in facing the rigors of Global Challenge, irrespective of their backgrounds; and in so doing, contribute to the resurgence of an Individual in a fiercely challenging Global Environment.
The Mission
To impart to all who want to improve their various professional and social skills to be comfortable in all walks of their life. We intend to achieve this through constantly developing relevant programs that would enable them to efficiently and effectively handle various situations both in their personal and professional lives.

2. It is important to us that whatever we do always leaves pleasant feelings. To us, this means whilst pursuing rigourous schedules, the attempt would be to ensure that the approach is friendly and always pleasant for all who choose to associate with us.
3. We shall at all times remain innovative and conscious of changing social and professional nuances. In doing so, we shall constantly search for newer ways to instill the skills and devising newer programs that empower individuals to be more comfortable with themselves and thus, be able to deliver superior values both in professional and personal circumstances.
4. Central to all our efforts is being refreshingly human in our efforts to contribute to the betterment of all who choose to associate with us and thus be consciously and sub-consciously pleasant to all the stakeholders in our various ventures.
Our Objectives:
We very sincerely believe that human beings are primarily social animals. Hence, the ability to communicate is at the core of all their actions, and being adept at communicating in a variety of circumstances born out of a variety of experiences. Therefore, acquiring skills through appropriate training becomes the main differentiator between one who succeeds and the one who does not. With this as the central ideal the objectives at FluENGcy are:
Short Term:
1. Develop and deliver to all who choose to associate with us for linguistic communication skills, starting with English, which has now acquired the status of the international link language globally
2. Develop and deliver various other skills to instill a sense of comfort in terms of Business Communication to include the skills of Listening, Speaking, Understanding, Reading and Writing in line with socially acceptable protocols and nuances.
3. Include within the next few months other languages to empower individuals to communicate with natives of those languages and thus add value to their personal and professional well being.
4. Develop short capsules that work directly in developing Management skills as also the capabilities to hone these technical skills imbued with life skills.
Long Term:
1. At all times, we shall endeavour to source, outsource and even develop indigenously, programs which would give competitive advantage to those who train with us.
2. Develop Individual, Executive and other Professional Short duration programs that would contribute to effectiveness and efficiency of people who may be drawn from various walks of life and social strata and in so doing, empower them to become contributing professionals/citizens with a global perspective.
3. Constantly look for introducing programs and a pedagogy that is more user-friendly and hence a be a very pleasant experience.
The Team:
1. Ms. Shilpa V Sonawane: With post graduate qualifications in English Literature and Fine Arts, from University of Pune and University of Mumbai respectively, Shilpa Sonawane has several other qualifications in Journalism, Fashion Designing, Advertising and Public Relations and Teaching Arts and even Entrepreneurship. She is a recognized painter in her own right and is amongst the rare few artists who have been known for excellence in Tantric paintings and art.
Over the years she has delved into a variety of activities, always delivering delight to those who choose to associate with her. Beginning with teaching children in a reputed school, Shilpa has also been involved in active teaching both in B-Schools and other technical institutes as visiting faculty in the field of Language and Communication skills. Having started as journalist in the Indian Express group, Shilpa has done Computer Aided Embroidery Designing. By the turn of the millennium, Shilpa turned to becoming an Entrepreneur and launched a fashion and design organization named and styled as A2 Creations. This is now a successful and smoothly running organization. However, driven by a powerful desire to help spread happiness, she conceived FluENGcy as an organization that would help empower people and make them adept at living lives in tune with the changing times. Being a gregarious person, she has been a voice over artist & has also dabbled with the camera at the Film and Television Institute with lan.
Guided by the single thought Socially adept people are more attuned to deliver success and success drives happiness , the essence of all of Shilpa s activities - both in personal and professional life - has been an exceptionally strong desire to empower all that she touches in her search for happiness. This means her guiding thought in all she does has perennially been How she can learn & impart and transfer World Class skills for the benefit of her employers/clients/employee/students and everyone else who chooses to associate with her. This has stood her in good stead - as is evident from the scorching successes she has notched up over the past 17 years. Indeed, she represents the new breed infused with the talent for personalized professionalism .
2. Mr. Dilip Nandkeolyar : An alumnus of Asian Institute of Management Manila Philippines, Dilip is a Management post graduate specialized in Marketing and Strategic Planning & is B.Sc. (Hons).He is currently pursuing a Doctoral Research Program.
His Field of study is: Business Planning and Marketing Strategies in the Context of Globalization for SMEs in India
He has varied experience of over 30 years in the field in the Corporate World; majority of it serving at the core and Senior/Top Management levels in international and national organizations in India and abroad. He has a keen sense of insight into Consumer psyche to deliver Customer Delight. This is he believes is the mantra of all his career successes. Some of the Companies he has been associated with are CEAT, Vikrant, Standard Batteries, Pirelli, Ohtsu-Falken, Kalyanpur, Reva, amongst others.
Dilip has been teaching for over past 10 years in a variety of B-Schools in Pune, Ahmednagar, Bangalore, Patna, Jabalpur, Patiala and Milan. Having been a Manager for past 25 years of which 18 at the Senior/Top Levels in Top Corporate Houses both in India and abroad, he has been deeply involved in Human Resource Development, in a variety of environments both within India and abroad, as the key factor in ensuring success. This has stood him in good stead to enter the demanding but gratifying fields of Teaching, Business Consulting, Training, and Development. It may be pertinent to add, in his working career after 1984, he has always been a part of the core team that contributed to turning around companies either as a direct employee or as consultant. At almost every stage he has been involved in developing human skills through training the staff at all levels.
The guiding philosophy behind all Dilip s endeavours has always been to succeed because his Employers/Customers/Clients/Teams/Students must, by delivering value plus.
3. Ms. Shree Lahiri: A post graduate in English Literature from Kolkata University, Shree is an experienced Image and Corporate Communications specialist with in-depth knowledge of marketing communications (advertising, public relations, investor, and employee communications) and academics.
Starting her career in Kolkata in advertising, Shree worked with major Clients in the East such as Bata- Bubblegummers , Shaw Wallace- Haywards 2000 , Royal Challenge , Director s Special , Lipton, Reckitt & Coleman- Disprin , National Tobacco- Regent , Duncan s 100 , Personal Preference , Macneil & Magor, India Foils amongst others. She then switched to client s side and joined Polar Fans, Kolkata, as Advertising Manager handling all product and corporate advertising, public relations, including their IPO. After a satisfying stint at Polar, Shree relocated to New Delhi joining NIIT (corporate office), as Group Manager : Advertising, involved in image management and brand communications for the corporate brand NIIT, NIS & SBUs namely in Product, Recruitment & Financial Advertising (including NIIT s Public Issue ). Shree was, in addition, involved in Media Relations, Internal Communications, (Employee Communications, Investor Communications) and Trade Exhibitions such as MAIT, IT India, NASSCOM, CSI.
Currently located at Pune Shree is a much sought after faculty in a plethora of B-Schools and other professional institutions in and around Pune. Shree has also conducted corporate training programs at MKCL (for IT and BPO professionals), NIBM and Convergys, Mumbai. A regular contributor on issues involving branding and personal development in Indian Express on topics like Building Brand U, Image is Power, Anger Management, Inspiration at Work, Coping with Failure, Chase Your Dream, Leadership, etc.
At the heart of it all, Shree has been striving to achieve transfer of knowledge to empower professionals get more out of their 24 hours and with panache . Those who know her have always found her amiable and eager to contribute to their success a trait we at FluENGcy value very much & believe is vital to convert knowledge to application for all who choose to associate with us and most certainly with her.
4. Ms. Ashoka Latha Beera: A Post graduate in Life Sciences and a Bachelor s in Education, Ashoka has over 20 years of experience in the field of teaching and counseling and is currently pursuing her Masters in Education from the University of Madras. Having served at a variety of positions in different educational organizations she brings a lot of experience into the group in terms of pedagogy and what the Corporate World need . She has also been invited to judge in the event Brevard Regional Science and Engineering at Florida, U.S.A.
Besides Education, Ashoka also has a rich experience of managing a Engineering SME in terms of Procurement, Tender Documentation and Finances, Quality Inspection, besides Marketing leading to closing of Work Orders and assignments.
Ashoka is responsible for promoting the mission of FluENGcy amongst the Clients and institutions, particularly in the Southern Region of India
Advisors:
1. Mr. Abhay Bhargava: Abhay is M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) from IIT Kanpur and has vast experience of working on Projects, Finance and Marketing areas with some of the most reputed business houses of India and in the South East Asia.
He offers his consulting services for engineering design of the projects so that the key strategic features of the business are well integrated with front-end engineering of the project. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi has formed a panel of Consultants and he has been selected for the same. He has been a visiting faculty at the Xavier Institute Communications, Mumbai and Faculty Guide to students doing courses in Family Managed Business at S.P. Jain institute of Management, Mumbai. He is also strongly entrenched now into Training and Development particularly in the area of Clean Development Mechanism, Project Management, Production and Quality Assurance. He is also heading the Cell of Innovative Technologies for Non-Conventional Energy & Resources at Sanjivini College of Engineering, Kopergaon.
He brings to the table his expertise to guide courses particularly useful to Manufacturing, I.T. and Process Sectors culled out of his deep understanding of issues from a highly global perspective.
2. Mr. Vinod Sonavane: A graduate from University of Pune, Vinod is a qualified Graphic Designer from University of Mumbai. He has an advanced qualification in Photography from Fergusson College, Pune and has also acquired qualification in Graphic Animation. He is an Entrepreneur by vocation. His abilities to understand customer needs and then to translate them to operational model for implementation perhaps has been the secret of his successes over the past 25 years. Being habitually meticulous, Vinod s efforts are singularly driven by an intense desire to be perfect and the ability to anticipate and provide for Customer needs on time every time.
Vinod now brings to the table his talents as the goal keeper of the organization and shall always be advising and even implementing operations for a very pleasant learning experience for those who choose to associate with FluEngcy.

Our Programs:
At FluENGcy each program introduced is thoroughly user-tested and due care is taken to make them easily digestible. Before introducing any program to the trainees, due care is taken to study their level of understanding and then necessary customization is done to reach out to the maximum numbers to make learning a pleasant experience worth retaining and employing in the day to day activities. Central to the approach is to maximize retention and encourage implementation of lessons learnt.
FluENGcy can also undertake to do follow-up programs, for an additional charge, to ensure that learning are sustained and possibly internalized to deliver more effectiveness. However, this is at the option of the Clients.
