Animal Stars is a dog training facility situated on the Gold Coast. We offer a variety of dog training services to suit everyone from those needing their dogs problems understood and solved to basic obedience training and Star Training.
Star Training is a type of trick training with the dog being cued from a distance by the trainer. This type of training is particularly useful in film and television situations. Star Training is just an extension of obedience training, but builds on all of the dog s natural behaviours and is great fun for both dogs and owners
We have unique quality facilities and provide private dog training lessons as well as Board & Train courses. Our facilities include an air-conditioned training studio on an acreage farm environment, with large kennels and runs.
We train, cast and co-ordinate all animals for film and TV productions as well as consulting to theme parks, commercial kennels and training facilities around Australia.
Animal Stars also provides dog training courses on the Gold Coast for international groups. In addition, Head Trainer Sue Thompson travels to overseas pet expos and dog training colleges providing seminars and lectures.
We can also provide demonstrations of dog training and Star Training for events, live shows, schools and special occasions.
