Occupational Spanish for Library Personnel Part I and II 2003
: An interactive, fun yet powerful 14-hour training supported by PowerPoint presentations, exercises and activities, and cultural discoveries.
This training is designed for library personnel with little or no prior knowledge of Spanish, focusing on vocabulary, colloquial terms used in the library environment, and a conversational approach.
Participants will also learn behaviors and values of Spanish-speaking patrons, which help them interact with and understand Latino patrons, answer questions, and help them find material and services.
