AccIT is an authorised PASTEL training centre and a dealer in PASTEL Accounting Software products. Our fully equipped computer training centre offers courses in PASTEL Software as well as Manual Bookkeeping and will soon offer PASTEL Payroll courses too. All courses offer the option of writing an assessment and if you pass (over 75 ) PASTEL head office will issue you with an official certificate.

I used PASTEL Accounting Software in my own accounting practice and prior to that for over 10 years, and have seen the functionality grow. It is an excellent product which does so much more than accounting. Use it for managing your contacts, managing your debtors and creditors and detailed reporting with the ability to export to Microsoft Office for reports and letter-writing.

Pastel Partner Advanced
: This course gives you the skills necessary to perform all the advanced task available from a bookkeeper to trial balance function in Pastel Partner.
You work in a training company. You learn all the advanced functions in General Ledger, Customers and Suppliers.
This course takes you through Pastel Bank Manager and Pastel Cash Manager.
Pastel Partner Intermediate
: This course takes you from installing your product to setting up a company, inputing new customers, suppliers and inventory items. You work in a training company - create quotes invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, goods received notes and take on balances.
The course takes you through all the basics and more- such as the stock take.
We will be running this course over 7 Monday Mornings for those who want to take it slow. Or we do it over 4 full days.

This course is for 2 full days or 3 half days.
Pastel Payroll Administration
: This course takes you through the Acts that Govern your Payroll and the roll you play as Payroll Administrator in your company.
You work in a training company - processing payslips from inputting documents, adding employees, company policy, changes to employee particulars, changes that affect tax calculations, changes to transactions, terminations, income and deductions, balancing, producing payslips, producing reports, year end procedures.
This is the fourth level of Pastel Payroll Training.
Pastel Payroll Level 1
: This course takes you from setting up your company to printing your first payslip.
You work in a training company - setting up company, creating parameters, creating employee data and processing payslips.
This course is the first of five Pastel Payroll Training days.
Pastel Payroll Level 2
: This course takes you through the next level of Pastel Payroll, where you'll learn more about the product.
You work in a training company - defining transaction templates, tax and calculation totals, rates and formulas, batch transactions, reports, year-to-date totals and additional setup.
Pastel Payroll Problem Solving
: This course takes you through the process of identifying a problem, determining the cause and finding a solution for the problem you might have in Pastel Payroll. The solution must furthermore be applied to achieve an expected outcome.
You work in a training company - problems relating to tax calculations, leave, employee rates, bank transfers, cost centres and job codes, backups, terminating an employee and payroll reports.
This course is the last level of Pastel Payroll Training.
Pastel Payroll Taxation
: The purpose of this course is to assist in the understanding of the operation of employee's tax in the payroll industry and is based on the Fourth Schedule of the Income Tax Act.
This is the third level of Pastel Payroll Training.
You work in a training company - tax methods, fringe benefits/ perks, income/ earnings transactions, deduction transactions, tax calculations in Pastel Payroll.
