ONLINE BAR MANAGEMENT
Based on our very popular three week certification course, this program is designed for current or new bar owners, bar managers, or those who are interested in advancing their food and beverage career. It is presented in five separate sections with field assignments given at the end of each one. Students are also able to converse weekly with the instructor and fellow students in the Sunday evening chat room to discuss class material, assignments, or just network with each other. Topics covered in this program include Industry Liabilities, Marketing Strategies, Advertising, Beverage Operations & Controls, Pricing, Forecasting, Inventory Control, Licensing, Hiring/ Firing & Human Resources, Scheduling, Effective Employee Management, Team Building, Theft Detection and Prevention, Menu Design, Trend Forecasting, and Contract Negotiations. ONLINE BAR OWNERSHIP
The Bar Ownership program is designed for new or prospective bar owners with little to no experience in the bar & restaurant industry. The course takes the student through the process of conceiving, designing, and opening a new bar. It also covers the process of purchasing an existing operation. You will have 14 days from the time of your registration to complete the program at your leisure. This course will take you through the three primary phases of bar ownership:
ONLINE B.A.S.S.E.T.
The Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training (BASSET) program is regulated by the Illinois Liquor Control Commission and is a mandatory requirement in dozens of counties and individual municipalities in the state of Illinois. Constructed as an alcohol awareness program, BASSET is customized for the alcohol sellers and servers in the State of Illinois. This online program is designed to be completed in only three to four hours and a certification is instantly issued following its successful completion.
