Caribbean Agency for Media Services (CAMS)

CAMS is a media services provider that offers basic journalism training, public relations, promotions, research, documentation, publishing, news services - news casts and analysis, radio and television productions and profiling.
CAMS operates a mobile training program for senior students and members of the public who have an interest in media related services.
CAMS works jointly with institutions of learning and local media services providers, in accomplishing the goals and objectives of its training programs.
CAMS series of training in media services begins September - for three (3) months; Again in February - for three (3) months and concludes with an in-house/ staff training covering three (3) levels of training.
CAMS training programs in media services can result in quality, professional and positive developments, both for the society and within the media and is designed for persons with or without any experience in the media.
Certification
Level I - Certificate in Media Studies (C-MS)
Level II - Diploma in Media Services (D-MS)
Level III - Advance Diploma in Media Studies (aD-MS)
Course activities for each semester will cover
1. Three research topics
2. Three assignments
3. Two class project
4. Internship - Four (4) weeks

2010 Media Training Empowerment Studies : This is a three month training program that focuses on Basic Journalism, Public Relations & Promotions and IT and the Social Media. This program introduces the basic in media studies. Upon conclusion a certificate in Media Studies is awarded. The foundational pillars for this training are: Knowledge & critical thinking; comprehension & analysis and right attitude & discipline.
