We are a distance-learning academy specialising in courses for singers and singing teachers working in the field of contemporary & commercial vocals. We also run in-person training courses and workshops in the UK.
Courses run from basic Certificate to Higher Diploma levels.
VIDLA (previously Voiceworks) is fully accredited by the IADL (International Association for Distance Learning), and is an Institutional Member of the College of Teachers.
All courses are designed by Dr. Ria Keen - a leading UK vocal educationalist. Decades of performance experience at such places as The London Palladium and Blenheim Palace, plus touring, TV and radio, together with extensive work in one-to-one and class-based vocal education, leaves Dr. Keen well placed to design courses that truly benefit the students who take them.
