Its main activities were trading in petrochemical products, as well as supply and apply of lining products.
Growing rapidly, GEKASH entered a joint venture with a Danish partner JOM ( Joining of Metals Institute ), the result was WELDECC ( welding education and consultation center ), which is one of the leading educational, and consultancy centers in Egypt and Middle-East.

ISO-17025 Requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories : This course includes specific items such as estimation of uncertainty in measurements, which needs knowledge of the international publications in this field. Also, sampling, which need highly specialized experts to prepare and present the course.
Lab Assessment Course is not just normal assessment or auditing course. It needs a person who worked at a research, testing or calibration lab and is knowledgeable in laboratory assessment procedure.
Lab Proficiency Tests: This course needs knowledge of methods for participating in proficiency testing for interlaboratory comparison and/ or round robin testing programs that will at least meet the requirements of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
