Offering lessons in graphics software and technique (print and web) to all skill levels. I am friendly, patient and knowledgeable with over ten years of teaching experience. Some of my many clients include: Graphic Designers, Photographers, Artists, Art Directors, Business Owners and professionals, Bloggers, Students, Hobbyists or anyone interested in preparing their own art or making websites (beginners ok ) In addition to training, my background includes many years of professional experience. I am an active graphic designer of both print work (such as catalogs, magazines, cds, brochures) and websites. In addition to my freelance experience, I have also held design and production positions with several companies. Here is a listing of what I offer: * Adobe Creative Suite CS3 (beginner to advanced) * Photoshop for print design, website design or photographers * Lightroom * Illustrator * Indesign * Quarkxpress * Dreamweaver * Flash * Fireworks * HTML/ CSS, Beginning PHP/ Mysql * Joomla or Wordpress for dynamic features, professional e-commerce or blogs * MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) * Graphic design technique and production skills (print or web) * Preparing files for offset print and/ or the web * Color Management * Giclee/ high-end inkjet printing * The Internet * Computer upgrading or troubleshooting * Just getting started and getting it all working * One-on-one or small groups (group rate for 3-6 is $85 /hr.) * PC or Mac Each lesson is customized to your needs and we can work at whatever pace feels comfortable. Private lessons can be a great alternative to classes for these reasons. You won't need any special projects or materials, but you're welcome to make your project the subject of our classes if you desire. Please keep in mind that if you have a project and time is an issue, it will take longer than if you hired someone to do it. My cost is $50 an hour with a two hour minimum if you are within 45 minutes of where I live near Santa Rosa (Marin's usually ok). Many of my customers are in San Francisco and the Berkeley/ Oakland area. For those places I have a 3 hour minimum, but no travel fees.
