WESLI Workplace English is designed for non-native English speaking employees who wish to improve their language skills in order to do their jobs better. Providing your employees with English instruction enhances employee / employer relations, reduces miscommunication, improves teamwork and boosts morale. Our courses are customized to suit your English training needs and can be adapted for individuals or groups of employees. Course materials are designed to improve both everyday English and industry-specific vocabulary. COURSE CONTENT As every client s needs are unique, each WESLI Workplace course is customized to meet these needs. A typical course is six to eight weeks in length and meets two times a week for an hour or two. Target improvement areas may include: * Expressions of understanding * Occupational vocabulary * Presentation Skills * English Vocabulary * Accent Reduction * Oral Communication * Schedules and tasks * Work-related Q & A * Business Etiquette * Safety issues * Work reports SCHEDULE & LOCATION WESLI Workplace English is considerate of our clients busy schedules and offers flexible course hours. In addition, courses may be conducted on-site at your business or at our downtown Madison facilities. COST The course cost is offered from $100 per contact hour depending on class size, length, and location. This includes all travel time, grading, preparation, course design, and needs assessments. WESLI has a long history of a family-like atmosphere, as teachers and staff care about students personally while they assist them academically. Most staff members have lived abroad, speak one or more foreign languages, have years of experience teaching English, and have been at WESLI for more than 15 years

Today, WESLI offers over 30 courses across 8 levels, an online English program, Workplace English and a TEFL certificate program (Midwest Teacher Training Program MTTP). WESLI has about 200 students each session. Students come from over 40 countries.
