Completion of all 3 sessions leads to earning a Certificate of Completion from Mais Oui RedesignU, and follow up membership in the Design Biz Incubator for 12 months (over $700 value ).

Module 1: Intro to the Principles of Redesign and Decorating
- Learn:
- The psychology of change as it relates to both clients and you making a career change.
- How to safely and effectively use decorators' tools
- Safety tips and best practices for working in a client's home.
- The process of interior redesign including furniture placement, as well as how to hang artwork and accessorize mantles, bookcases and tables
- Learn decorating rules and tips regarding fabric, lighting, color, etc.
- Participate in one hands-on redesign experience
Module 2: 5Cs: Clients, Communicating, Consultations, Creating and Coaching
- Learn:
-Who your target clients are; where and how to find them
-How to do an effective consultation that gets you the information you need to do to manage expectations and create rooms that work for the way your client lives in the space
-Hands-on experiences include doing an actual client consultation and coaching while you creatively participate in a full-day redesign project.
Module 3: It's All About Business
- Learn
-The basics of starting your own business, including licensing, insurance, business models
-The importance of business planning and putting operations systems into place
-Marketing basics including using social media, web, sphere of influence and client followup.
- Includes marketing start-up kit
- Includes on-going coaching and support through a 12-month membership in the Design Biz Incubator (Mais Oui RedesignU is an affiliate)
- Certificate of completion and graduation gift upon completion of all 3 modules. Note: Modules are sequential and are prerequisites to the next Module.
Denise Montgomery is the owner and trainer at Mais Oui Redesign. Staging homes since 1995, Denise has completed training programs in floral design, real estate, staging, interior redesign, color, sewing, social media marketing as well as two certificates in training adult creative learners. She holds a BA in Chistian Education from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois; lives in North Carolina with her husband Mark and 8 lb. maltese.

Mais Oui RedesignU is the training division of Mais Oui Redesign, LLC. Mais Oui Redesign was started in 2004 in Louisville, KY by Denise A. Montgomery. The company was subsequently moved to Auburn, AL in 2005; and then to Greenville, NC in January 2007.
Since 2005, we have offered classes in real estate staging, as well as training classes in interior redesign beginning in 2006.
We keep our class size limited to 6 people to ensure the integrity of the hands-on portion of the class.
