The training CTI provides in the SMT, PTH and Lead Free areas, is backed with more than 20 years of experience in the electronic circuit board manufacturing field. Our staff of IPC Certified Trainers is available to assist with all your solder training needs. We offer training in the IPC-610 revision D, JSTD-001 Revision D, IPC 7711/ 7721 Rework and Repair, plus several CTI designed solder certification classes. (Down-level revision classes can be taught if needed.) Being one of the few Official IPC Certified Training centers in the USA, we offer instructor training in the IPC 610, JSTD-001 and IPC-7711/ 7721 programs.
Our CTI Certified SMT solder training course provides the student with exposure to cutting edge SMT components such as castellated terminations, BGA/ CSP's, fine pitch QFP's and many other commonly seen and some unusual components for actual hands on rework.
The CTI Certified PTH training sessions give students hands on exposure to the real world challenges when using the Pin Through Hole technology. Students install and remove a wide range on through hole components, resistors, capacitors, diodes, gold tinned transistors and Integrated circuits. This solder training session also includes a functional circuit that the students build and are evaluated on the functionality of the circuit as well as the quality of the solder joints.

We are an IPC Certified training center. We have master IPC trainers certified to the IPC7711/ 7721, IPC 610, IPC J-STD-001 and IPC 620 programs. We offer classes at one of our many training centers or onsite at your location.
Our onsite program is unique because we bring a solder station and inspection equipment along with all the hand tools for each student, no sharing of equipment. Our equipment is top of the line with solder iron, hot tweezer, vacumm extractor and hot air jet. We provide everything except the students, chairs, tables and electrical power, and all our prices is complete, there is never a add on charge after you are quoted.
