Certification process
What is a BAT/ UDS Certificate? A Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) / Substance Abuse Collection Certification certificate is issued by Hartman Drug and Health Training Center and attests that you fully understand the Department of Transportations' (DOT) rules and regulations detailed in their published document 49CFR Part 40 as well as instrument operation. This certificate is instrument specific and must be renewed every 5 years with the completion of a (written test) refresher course that can be mailed directly to you.

: The proposed training schedule is intended to assist you in meeting the MSHA regulations for Part 46 and/ or Part 48 Surface training that you will need.
We ask that you contact Tammy at your earliest convenience to confirm and get scheduled for your training and also confirm arrangements for the training facility, we are located at 9525 rt 422 west Shelocta, Pa 15774. In compliance with MSHA, and to provide a manageable classroom, we limit attendance to 20 per class.
