His educational history includes cultural and medical anthropology and a doctorate in Religious Studies. Dr. Jason is a naturally talented writer, with an ability to understand what is being asked and what is not being asked, responding accordingly and developing proposals which address the needs and underlying desires of the funding agencies. His clients include MClennan Community College, Bell County Community College, Asia Pacific College- Asia, and Agusta-Westland, among others. The Grant Writers Group was established to help civic leaders, who are helping the people of their communities, find funding for their community assistance programs. We have been funded for 100 percent of the grants we have submitted. We are proud to be a member of the Greater Dallas community and to be able to help civic leaders have a greater impact on the lives of others. The Grant Writers workshop answers frequently asked questions and concerns about grant writing such as how to research and find funding, how to complete a winning proposal, and how to develop performance criteria, and much more. The workshop includes basic grant writing information and offers a hands on, interactive approach to grant writing, which facilitates expanded learning and deep comprehension. Participants are guided through a step by step process of completing a Request for Proposal (RFP), which will ensure preparedness for responding to questions and information found in most foundation, private and governmental grant opportunities. We also help with researching and finding current and future funding agencies. Topics of discussion at the Grant Writers Group workshop include but are not limited to: * Completing a Request for Proposal (RFP) o From Planning through to Submission * Grant Writing Management o the Logic Model * The 5 Grant Award Funding Factors including: o Capacity, Significance, Relevance, Leveraged Funding Resources, & Performance Measures * Developing Leveraged Resources (Partners) * Proposal Review * Researching Funding Opportunities Participants will find workshops presented by the Grant Writers' Group especially useful in helping prepare competitive funding proposals. We not only teach the mechanics of grant writing and funding research, but we also help participants understand the underlying language and true concerns of funders, so that their proposals speak specifically to the needs and missions of their funders.
