CMC Culture & Management Consulting is based in Singapore, Singapore,
The CMC learning solutions are based on the Model of Freedom. We apply this model to co-create cultural sensitivity. Points of departure are the challenges we encounter when working in an international business environment. We approach these challenges from a cross-cultural angle. This learning process provides insights that turn cultural differences into an advantage.
The challenges can be in the field of:
Teamwork
Leadership
Communication
Innovation
Negotiation
Change Management
Workshops & seminars
In workshops and seminars we contribute to the effectiveness of professionals and teams across cultural borders. The process starts with raising the participants' awareness of the cultural bias in their own methods of working. They gain valuable insights when they also realise how their styles are perceived by other cultures. The Model of Freedom leverages the learning process when we apply it in case studies and simulations.
Academy programmes
Our in-company academy programmes provide an intensified learning process. Learning goals determined by the company's specific concerns are addressed in clusters. Participants use the time between clusters to work on an assignment or to try their new skills.
Assessment, consultancy & coaching
Business leaders and team managers are frequently faced with challenges in managing productive relationships, that need to be tackled from a cross-cultural angle. We offer cultural analyses and advice on an individual or team basis, leading to improved communication with customers, colleagues and suppliers, or between plants.
Lectures
Our team is available for lectures and presentations. A taste of what we have done:
Amsterdam Law School - How culture influences law systems
University of Frankfurt - Culture s impact on standardisation processes
