The Living Centre - Eco-Spiritual Education Centre
Founded in 1983, The Living Centre is a 50 acre educational sanctuary located in the heart of Canada's Carolinian zone which is the southernmost region of Canada.
The purpose of The Living Centre is to promote a renaissance in human thought, values and conscience based on healing, eco-sustainability and openness. Our wish is to grow together as global citizens; to contribute towards the creation of a culture based in peace; as we look to life and humanism as the core values for a sustainable society.
In terms of herbalism training, we have three distinct courses:
Nutritional Herbalism, which is for the beginning herbalist and those interested in understanding the nutritional content of plants and how you can apply it to maintain or regain good health.
Ecological Herbalism is essential training for the modern herbalist student with vision of restoring our heart connection to the deep ecology of nature.
Shamanic Herbalism is an exploration into the ancient ways of honoring and using plants of power.
