I am an independent Enterprise Business Architect consultant. My goal is to pioneer Enterprise Business Architecture(EBA) initiatives and to help companies become successful with the EBA. One of my clients is Intel Corporation.
I offer a one day Enterprise Business Architecture (EBA) Overview class. This class describes an approach and method for building an architecture of the business. It explains how to build and integrate your core cross-functional processes, sometimes called value streams, with the IT architectures and the corporate strategy. It formally captures your intellectual capital in an architectural type blueprint or model of the business that is available for strategic and tactical analysis. Consequently, the business and IT teams can work in harmony with the insight gleaned from the Enterprise Business Architecture to create higher profits, superior customer service and a competitive advantage for their enterprise.
I offer a three day Enterprise Business Architecture (EBA) Workshop class. This three day workshop provides you with insight to the EBA approach and its integration capabilities, along with some hands on exercises. Essentially, the first day is "what is the EBA," the second day is "how do you build the EBA", and the last day is "where is the client s EBA initiative." During day one, I talk about the EBA concepts, developing customer-centric behaviors and value streams. In day two, for example, the students have to spend a couple of hours fixing a broken EBA model, applying what they have learned and explaining the fixes to me. In day three, I review the client s BPM, EA and EBA activities, jump start EBA model development and review my intellectual capital for reuse by the client.
