Dear Safety Minded Individual:
The Bay Shore Safety Council is an onsite safety training company. Presently, we provide the NY State DMV-approved defensive drivers course and the NY State 8-hour security guard pre-assignment/ recertification course. As an official delivery agency for the National Traffic Safety Institute (N. T.S. I) we offer the oldest and largest defensive driver program.
Our Traffic Survival Workshop is designed with quality content for safe driving. All of our courses are taught by former or active law enforcement personnel. This allows us to keep our curriculum up-to-date with city, state and federal laws and rules.
Our New York State Department of Motor Vehicle approved course contains text, videos, and informed discussion on specific rules and regulations (e. g., state speed limits and DWI/ DUI laws) all aimed at helping the participant become a better driver. There are two courses of instruction, a one day, six hour course or a two day, three-hour course. Either course encompasses the use of our comprehensive Traffic Survival Workshop handbook and various handouts given to all participants that I have enclosed for your review.
The fee for the course is $22 per person with no minimum
