Ashley2 Skills Developers cc. provide flexible learning opportunities for persons wishing to become employed, to those who are employed and want to improve their qualifications, and to upgrade the skills of staff already employed who require short courses to improve their skills competency. Ashley2 Skills Developers cc. are an approved learning centre by City & Guilds and therefore offer courses that are certified by City & Guilds. Courses offered include train the trainer (Course code 1106), and a variety of single subject Certificate and Diploma courses that can be examined whenever a candidate is ready. These course cover Business Skills and Finance & Accounting. Future development is in Engineering Skills. Management development is another key aspect of the training offered (awaiting full approval from the South African Institute of Management SAIM). There are also in-house courses for Occupational Health & Safety Reps. as well as supervisory courses up to middle managment.
