The Academy of Creative Training is the only Drama School on the South Coast (UK) offering a professional actor training. ACT is a centre of artistic creativity with a unique approach to vocational acting courses. ACT is consistently achieving a Graduate employment rate of 65 . ACT offers a range of courses for adults, young people and children from beginner to advanced levels.
ACT Runs a range of courses to suit the needs of different individuals. They are:

We also offer one-to-one Drama Coaching with one of our experienced tutors in the following: Audition Technique, Acting Technique, Voice, Movement, Presentation Techniques.
Our Unique Approach
We run on a non profit making basis so we can offer quality training at affordable rates. Our ethos is to provide access to professional Drama Training for talented individuals who have been unable to follow traditional routes into the acting profession through lack of academic qualifications, financial restrictions or family responsibilities.
Courses run during the evenings and weekends so that students can earn a living or maintain family commitments. Students must be 18 to apply to the Diploma and 16 for the Foundation and all other adult courses. There is no upper age limit.
ACT Kids Theatre offers classes for children and young people from 6 to 18.
The ACT team is comprised of highly experienced, passionate and dedicated actors and directors. They bring their own current professional practice into the classroom, relish the opportunity to nurture new talent and are committed to creating a safe, supportive and inspiring creative environment.

ATCL Two Year Diploma in Acting
: The two year diploma trains actors to work as professionals in a modern, industry-relevant environment. Students will be able to undertake the rigours of a professional career having developed sound skills and techniques in acting and performance.
Students will develop their own robust working process, strong vocal and movement skills and the ability to create believable and fully rounded characters for stage or screen.
ACT aims to produce actors who are both dynamic and interesting and who can draw on their own, often varied and wide ranging life experiences, to produce work that is truthful and engaging.

Foundation aims to bridge the gap between a basic understanding of drama and performance and professional training. Building on people's natural abilities, the course is an ideal forum in which to discover each student's unique creative potential.
