All of the training that we offer has an experiential component to it, as we 've discovered that this is how adults learn best. Training sessions are scalable and can be as short as a half-day to our ongoing Leadership Development series. Dan Block & Associates was founded by Dan Block in 2000 as a full service management training and consulting company. In 2005, the name was changed to TeamBuilding Blocks to more accurately reflect the group's focus and specialization on building stronger and more solid teams.
In addition to the name change, TeamBuilding Blocks has partnered with the beautiful Four Mounds estate in Dubuque, Iowa to offer a full range of retreat and conference services complete with accommodations, meals, and meeting facilities on-site.

Challenge Ropes Course
: The Ropes Course is used as a tool to inspire individual and group growth. The elements of the course are designed to take individuals beyond their comfort zones and beyond their own expectations to a higher level of self-worth. Self-esteem is built, communication is heightened, and a bond between people is developed.

Critical Thinking
: A hands-on, interactive approach to critical thinking. The participants will learn key componenets of critical thinking and then immediately practice these principles of this newly acquired knowledge. Edward De Bono's Six Thinking Hats curriculum will be utilized in addition to a series of hands-on, interactive activities specific to Critical Thinking.
Team building
