We offer comprehensive crisis consulting and training services to schools and community organizations, using the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) model. This includes pre-incident planning, training and professional development and post-incident consultation and support. Classes are taught by an ICISF approved instructor and are recognized by ICISF.
If you are in charge of safety or emergency management for a school, nonprofit, religious institution or community organization,
you need to be ready not just to prevent critical incidents, but to respond to tragedy.
There are some simple steps you can take before tragedy strikes to prepare yourself and your crisis response team
to help your community recover when violence, disaster or accident overwhelm their usual coping skills.
Services are offered locally in the upper mid-west or we can travel to your site. CISM classes are significantly less expensive than the market average.

We offer Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) classes approved by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) at reasonable fees. We also offer comprehensive consulting services to help schools and community organizations (churches, non-profits, etc.) formulate emergency response plans and select, develop and train crisis response teams. After an incident occurs, we consult with the organization to implement their plan and troubleshoot any problems. Then we facilitate and operational critique and help revise the plan.
Naomi Zikmund-Fisher is an ICISF approved instructor with more than 5 years of crisis response experience in schools and the greater community. She is a K-8 Principal and a team leader for her school district crisis team, as well as a member of a county community team. She holds two masters degrees, in special education and educational leadership, and a Certificate of Specialized Training in schools and children crisis response.

This program is designed for teach participants the fundamentals of, and a specific protocol for, individual crisis intervention.
