CBRI is a private organization engaged in research projects in Biology, it has been setup as a premier Institute for Research and Development, Advanced Training and Services in Bioinformatics for the promotion, growth and prosperity of Biological Sciences. It started in 2008 as a small institute to give basic and advanced training in the field of bioinformatics to pioneer works mainly for academic and job oriented peoples. In the end of 2008 it was upgraded to a college level and its scope was extended to different government and private institutes, Bio-medical research institutes, and Pharma industries. Purpose This institution started mainly with two purposes: 1. The aim and vision of the institute is to foster high quality, innovative, and multidisciplinary research and advanced training in Bioinformatics, provide a forum for emerging bioinformatics researchers, and to provide a platform for the development of commercial bioinformatics capability. Our team specializes in providing solutions to core bioinformatics problems by innovative ideas, advanced algorithms and top notch software development for research in Biotechnology and Pharma Industry. 2. To give higher education in a research projects training, there are many bioinformatics institutes in India giving higher education and training, but many of them are very liberal. We have seen many students of those institutes, loosing faith in the inspiration of the project & trainings, software s explanation, course topics knowledge in the research projects. This has affected many students and institutes. Therefore we want to give higher education, research methodology, projects methodology & hands on experience of training. Future Plans 1.
