Fire and Life Safety

Lock OutTag Out



: This four-hour instructional module includes a thorough overview of OSHA 29 CFR 1910. 147, practical skills utilizing LO/ TO devices and concludes with a written examination. Students are lead through practical demonstrations of lock out devices and the proper application of each and each student must prove competency in the use of each.
Machine Guarding Principles


: Fundamentals of this program include identifying the point of operation, elimination of amputation hazards, methods of machine guarding and acceptable conditions for removing machine guards or working around unguarded machines. A brief overview of lock out/ tag out is also a part of this course.
This training can be custom designed to be site-specific to the needs and machinery of the organization.
Materials Handling and Storage


: Handling and storing materials involve diverse operations
such as hoisting tons of steel with a crane; driving a truck
loaded with concrete blocks; carrying bags or materials
manually; and stacking palletized bricks or other materials
such as drums, barrels, kegs, and lumber.
The efficient handling and storing of materials are vital to
industry. In addition to raw materials, these operations
provide a continuous flow of parts and assemblies through
the workplace and ensure that materials are available when
needed. Unfortunately, the improper handling and storing of
materials often result in costly injuries.
Medical First Responder Refresher

: Calibrate your emergency response team through a refresher program that challenges your emergency responders to demonstrate proven knowledge of subject matter through written verification and practical application. DOT requires retraining for Medical First Responders every two years.
This Medical First Responder re-certification program is current ASHI Medical First Responders or those whose certification expired no more than 1-year prior to class start date.
