OUR BEGINING: Discovery Detective Academy's roots go back to California in the 1970's. A select few including our Marc Allan along with Milo Spiriglio of Nick Harris Detectives fame, put together one of the first state licensed investigation courses for the public at Nick Harris Detective Academy. Marc Allan was chief instructor in charge of all curriculum until 1996 when he brought his expertise to start Discovery Detective Academy. Mr. Allan's investigative knowledge, commitment to excellence in education, and his continued mentoring of past alumni from both Nick Harris Detective Academy & Discovery Detective Academy have set us apart from all other investigation training classes.

Security Guard training certification for license and license renewal
: This security course is approved by the Arizona Department of Safety to grant the pre training certification needed to get hired and licensed as an unarmed guard. This class will also satisfy the renewal training certification needed for license renewal of an unarmed guard card.
