Introduction
Ekkalaivaa Academy for Hobbyists is a pioneer institute that provides quality educational support for adopting electronics as hobby. The academy focus on providing training to its members on practical education and thereby increases confidence and working skill among them. The Academy was started on April 2009 at Chennai, India. In this short span of time the Academy has established itself as technical mentors in many international schools, public schools, reputed Engineering colleges in and around Chennai and in many companies as well for conducting and hosting many technical events, workshops, Electronics awareness etc. Ekkalaivaa is a company providing complete hobby oriented solutions for anybody above the age of seven
What do we do?
Ekkalaivaa Academy for hobbyists enhances creativity and skill using Electronics as a platform. We provide grass root level training approach on how electronics can be a best tool in perceiving this fast improving world. Students here at Ekkalaivaa are taught basics of Electronics with full practical approach and how this can be used in their day to day life. We provide training on the domains of Mobile Robotics, Hobby Electronics, Toy Science, Remote Controls , MAD ( Music Art and Dance) science, Field Science and Aero-modeling. These fields are taught with Electronics as a platform and courses are thus designed to enhance practical knowledge among the learners. We also provide technical guidance for Engineering graduates, School students and other people who are interested in developing either a project on their own or competing in any technical competitions.

Infrastructure
Ekkalaivaa has a well established location at Annanagar, Chennai with an area of 1400 sq feet. With state of the art classrooms and huge inventory support, Ekkalaivaa is fully geared up in delivering the needs of its students. With a research lab of its own Ekkalaivaa is capable of producing state of the art projects for its students. A separate Lab for the students is also provided for carrying out their innovative ideas. Along with this there are classrooms that are meant for carrying out theory sessions for the students. There are computer facilities with complete software packages required for electronics project developments.

Ekkalaivaa Academy for Hobbyists has a combination of people who are Dynamic, energetic and fully packed with what it takes to meet students requirements. A dedicated team that has proven records on meritorious as well as technical qualifications. The faculties are capable of skills such as task management, project management and problem solving aspects.
They are recruited from the most reputed universities with good communication and extra curricular skills. The staffs are also provided training on newly available technologies to stay updated in the fast era.
