Occupation Title: Slaughterer/ Slaughterman/ Industrial Butcher
DURATION : 30 DAYS ( 280hrs)
COURSE DESCRIPTION :
This course is designed to equip individuals with operational knowledge, skills and attitudes in abattoir operations. It deals with all the processes involved in slaughtering cattle and or pig Butchering.
2) Meat Cutting/ Butchering Course
Duration: 200 hours/ 4 weeks
Course Description:
This course is designed to give skills to students in meat cutting, knife handling and knowledge of various meat cuts from Primal cut and Barrel cut to various retail cuts used in meat processing companies, groceries and supermarkets and overseas.
Training in workplace health and safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, basic meat science, cow and pig anatomy and food handling safety are also included.
