Emergency Management and Research Institute

The Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Care is a two year full time program designed and developed by Stanford University School of Medicine, affliated to the Osmania University. The course is conducted by Emergency Management and Research Insitute (EMRI)based in Hyderabad. The curriculum has been framed in order to deliver high quality pre-hospital education and comprehensive training in the field of emergency care. The program covers extensive clinical knowledge while educating and training students in developing skills in leadership, communication, necessary IT skills, education in emergency management and skills pertaining to pre-hospital care. EMRI also has collaborations with AHA (American Heart Association) that provides study materials for the special certification programs designed by them. After the completion of the two year program the students will also be certified as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) approved by the AHA. The students will also undergo training programs in International Trauma Life Support ( ITLS ) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support ( PALS ) as well.
