SpiderTools. com provides Linux Training for servers with a focus on CentOS and Ubuntu servers. We provide self-taught training, Live Virtual Classes and OnSite Linux Training. Clients are are typically small businesses moving from Windows to Linux. We train up to 125 students weekly and many of them are Windows administrators moving to Linux.

Linux Administration
The focus of our Linux Training is application of skills learned in the live classroom and during student study. Students train on live servers and have the support of certified instructors during the class. The pace of the training is determined by the student knowledge base and the instructor works with students on an individual basis, training and answering questions. This means the the class time is flexible to any schedule and can work at anyone's pace. Each of the skills students will learn will be required on LPI, Red Hat RHCE or Linux Certifications. Though this is not a certification course the skills learned will help in certification.

Linux Training Server to Learn on
Each student will be provided a real Linux server to work on during the class. This provides students with real skill development as they work through the class. Students will also be shown how to use VMWare Player and install a virtual machine so they learn how to build RAID and LVM on a virtual machine.
Almost 80 Interactive Labs
Students will have 80 labs to complete to develop Linux administration skills. These labs are step-by-step in completing the necessary tasks to become a Linux Administrator.

- D asked: Hello Mike. I am a previous customer that bought your damn small Linux book and Linux commands books. I am slowly going through them and learning a lot. I want to learn more. Things like for example i have both a eeepc and a aspire one with a gig hdd. the dsl Linux is OK but there isn't far that i can go these days with a . kernel. I'm so appreciative of the simplicity of what you have put out in the past and was wondering if there is something more right now. I'm use to correspondence courses, I've done those in the past. anything along the line of those that you have currently?? For example that would show me how to mount my SD card as an addition to the hdd on the laptop. or to have it permanently mounted as a /home for example. I guess im wondering is you would have something like for example slitaz as a distro thats . kernel that could be built up to well beyond what comes with the ISO from repositories and getting wireless etc going.
