Cardea Biomedical Technologies (www. cardeabiomedical. com) provides training, research based projects, summer training and placements (post training) to biomedical, electronics, instrumentation and computer science UG and PG students. Advisors from IIT Delhi, AIIMS, DRDO, Stanford University and IEEE helps us provide the ultimate platform to students to undergo a research project post training which helps them tread a career which they aspire for. We are a Biomedical devices and educational service provider company located in Delhi.

Cardea Labs provides training to UG and PG students in the biomedical domain. Students benefit from the training as we provide only research based projects which the students do after their training.

It has helped them publish international journal and conference papers and file patents.

Students aspiring for MS have made it to the top tier universities through Cardea including world's number 1 university i. e. Johns Hopkins with 80 scholarship.

Cardea Labs provides training in three areas which are the building blocks for a Professional Biomedical Engineering Training Program:

a) Biomedical Analog Electronics - Student learns the art of designing sensors and circuits to capture noise-free biomedical signals. At the end of the module a student is able to design his/ her own ECG, EMG, PPG, EEG etc amplifier practically.

b) Micro-controllers - Student learns the art of using a micro-controller for Analog to Digital conversion to send the captured bio-signals on to the computer. This is an embedded systems course.

c) Digital Signal Processing/ MATLAB - Once the signal is captured and transferred to the computer, significant parameters need to be extracted from it. Students learn to write codes and programs in MATLAB for feature extraction.


Cardea Labs works on innovative projects leading to new devices out in the market. If a student proves his worth in the training, he/ she can team up with the research team members and work at on-going projects with us. If a patent or a journal/ conference publication results due to these research activities (which is generally the case), it is mutually beneficial.

A total of 4 months is needed to do the complete course and a research based project. Each module can be taken up separately as well and can be completed in 6 weeks.
