The Course is split into 2 Parts.
Part I (Compulsory)
Theory And Dry Lab Training.
CHOOSE the right Part I based on your previous medical training.
(i) If you have Medical Experience - Take our ONE DAY Intensive Phlebotomy Course.
(ii) If you have NO Medical Experience - Take our TWO DAY A to Z Beginners Intensive Phlebotomy Course.
You'll Learn Phlebotomy Basics & Practice on Mannequins. You'll get a CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE.
AFTER COMPLETING PART I: Enroll for PART II - Hospital/ Clinic 'LIVE' Bloods Experience Sessions. You'll gain hands-on Work Experience and a CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY when you pass.
Courses meet All 18 Competencies recommended by the NHS Skills For Health Organisation, National Occupational Standards (NOS) and 'Pathway to Competency'.
Courses are taught by NHS Senior phlebotomists and all course material is provided by the NHS.

- N asked: Hi Good Afternoon, I am writing to enquire further about the Phlebotomy training that is conducted by your organisation as I am interested to take up this course. I am based in Singapore & currently working as a Research Nurse for GlaxoSmithKline here. Part of my main duty is to perform Venous Draw for our peadiatric subject participant. Although I was initially trained at Kandang Kerbau Hospital as a Lab Aid cum phlebotomist (Trained by Inhouse Drs)...I did not attained any certification for Phlebotomy practice...I have source for other instituition for enrollement in this course...bt was told that the waiting list is full untill end of next year. I would like to add that besides having an Enrolled Nursing License from Singapore Nursing Board...I am also a student of Biomedical Science from Bradford University (D/ L) MDIS. I intend to persue my degree on campus at Bradford next year...& would also like to be trained as a Phlebotomist (UK) before I enter Bradford... Could you enlighten me on how do I go about in attaining this certification & possibly attached myself with a Healthcare Institution in UK so that I can practice my license once pass the training.
