Ian Watts

I am 54 years old, married for 34 years with two grown up daughters and live in Wiltshire. For the last 12 years I have run my own training company. Since 2003 we have developed and delivered training specifically for the security and loss prevention sectors. I write training courses for delivery in many different ways from classroom to distance and blended learning. In recent years I have begun to work in other parts of the world such as the United Arab Emirates and Cyprus. I have written much of the security training programmes currently delivered in Dubai. I enjoy my business and the challenges it gives me. I do not believe in training for the sake of it and strive to ensure that the training I write and deliver brings lasting results for the recipients. I am more vocational in my training philosophy than academic, although there is a need for both in training programmes. My desire is to use my experience and knowledge to help as many people as possible to achieve what they want for themselves.
