As CEO of Microtrain and professional trainer one of my biggest challenges is running a training organization and doing what I love- teaching in the classroom. My favorite classes to teach are Project Management and Business process courses. The subject matter in those areas helps me focus as a leader, setting the vision for our organization.
Eleven years ago I left the financial services industry to follow my passion, technology and teaching. As the CEO of a small trading company ( Chicago Trading and Options) I felt like there was something missing in my life. When I got involved with training the light bulb went on, I got an immediate charge from being in the class room and sharing. Running a trading company was only about making money. I now wake up energized everyday thinking I am going to make a difference by helping individuals and companies learn and get better at what they do.
