Tony Beach
Tony Beach has been in the material handling industry for over 25 years. He began his career in 1984 as a territory salesman selling warehouse equipment and moved on to new and used forklifts, parts, service and rentals. During this time Mr. Beach was promoted to sales manager, covering seven states, where he gained vast experience in warehouse layout and operations, making the safe operation of forklifts his priority. Over fifteen years in the industry gave Mr. Beach the experience and knowledge to start his own successful material handling dealership called Beach Material Handling in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has attended many industry and factory sponsored training classes to include well known manufacturers such as Clark and Drexel and he won the coveted Top Gun award at Clark s training Boot Camp .
Mr. Beach learned, through his years of working with forklifts, the importance of safe forklift operation. He applauded OSHA s sweeping reforms on how training was to be done. Following the newly-established requirements demanded by OSHA Mr. Beach wrote and created the popular forklift training software entitled, Forklift Training Pro. Using this site-specific program Mr. Beach has trained thousands of operators and hundreds of trainers around the country in his Train-the-Trainer classes. Forklift Training Pro has sold thousands of copies, many of them to Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States as well as companies around the world. Mr. Beach also, because of his extensive background, is called as an expert witness in forklift accident cases.
